After more than 10 years learning day by day to produce our food in an easy and self-sufficient way, using the biointensive method both in Nicaragua and Galicia, after more than 70 training sessions, talks, seminars in different places and with different formats and after having trained and informed more than 1,700 people, we have understood that it is time for A Milpa do Salnés to create its biointensive community as a new, more stable and continuous way over time to be able to share everything we have learned and continue to learn from the garden with you who want to produce your healthy food in an efficient way and seeking true self-sufficiency.
We want to create a community and invite you to be part of it, from which we can provide you with quality information, verified in the field with scientific rigor and above all arising from our real experience, in addition to connecting you with other small producers interested in the production of their food.
If you want to produce your own food in a simple and efficient way , without using any chemical synthesis products, this is your chance. If you join our community, you will access a series of benefits:
1. Ongoing training on the biointensive method. With two live sessions each month, you will be able to learn all the tools that allow you to produce your food in a self-sufficient way. If you cannot participate live, you will be able to access the recording of each class that is taught.
2. We will answer your questions. We will answer any questions you may have as you progress with your garden. You will be able to access live sessions where we will answer your questions and encourage exchanges among all members of the community.
3. Thematic webinar addressing a specific topic of interest. Taking advantage of our connection with the global network of biointensive gardens, you will have access to live sessions with world-renowned biointensive specialists addressing topics of interest to our community.
4. We study your soil. Once a year we help you with a recommendation for improving your soil using the Grow Your Soil methodology with the support of international soil specialist John Beeby.
5. Access to quality seeds in each crop cycle. Each member of the biointensive community will receive twice a year a packet of seeds of the crops of greatest interest to the Community. These seeds will be produced in biointensive gardens and if you are part of our community you will be able to select 3 varieties in each crop cycle from which you will receive a quantity of seeds for the sowing of 10 square meters in your biointensive garden.
6. Be part of our Seed Bank. Every member of the biointensive community will be able to be part of our Seed Bank. If you have seeds from your own production and you contribute them to our seed bank, you will be able to receive a quantity of seeds from our seed bank and you will have the opportunity to be part of an annual in-person meeting for the exchange of seeds.
We want to create a community and invite you to be part of it, so that we can provide you with quality information.
