Preparing the beds

The As Covas Meaño School together with A Milpa do Salnés began to prepare the biointensive school garden. The families, teachers and students of the ecological brigade (6th and 5th grade) are the protagonists of this new school initiative. The students of the ecological brigades will be the multipliers for the rest of the educational center on the subject of biointensive ecological agriculture.

We prepare the land by double excavation, carry out a soil analysis and create terraces to reduce the slope of the land and prevent soil erosion.
